ABOUT FPTI™  / BREAKING NEWS

  • Newmont Ghana orders a second Model MF102D-H-TSE for its operations in Accra, Ghana -

Newmont Ghana operates a surface mine, which is located 307 kilometers northwest of Accra, Ghana. The mine employs approximately 4,400 workers, which includes contract workers.

This is the second model MF102D-H-TSE that will be used to train mechanics at the mine’s training center.

  • South Plains College in Texas places an order for Model MF102, and Model MF300VCLS training systems -

Sales of the MF102 are testimony to the fact that when technical schools take the time to compare all the hydraulic trainers currently available, there is only one choice: the brilliant model MF102 training system. FPTI™ is proud to have been chosen as the supplier for hydraulic training systems for South Plains College in Texas.

Sure, FPTI™ is thrilled to receive an order for training systems. However, we are more excited at the fact that yet another college in our great country is going to be teaching “safety-based” hydraulics to America’s workforce.

In addition, South Plains College will be teaching students how to test 96% of the components in any hydraulic system with the prime mover safely locked out.

This ground breaking technology, exclusive to FPTI™ products, means students graduating from South Plains College will have the ability to reduce the hydraulic troubleshooting error rate from 80% to less than 1%. Less downtime, increased efficiency, lower operating costs, and zero accidents: the ingredients for eliminating the outsourcing of American jobs.

FPTI™ will be delivering the following training systems to South Plains College:
    • Two (2) model MF102D-H training systems.
    • Two (2) model MF102D-H-TS training systems.
    • One (1) model MF300-VCLS Hydrostatic Transmission and Hydraulic Steering training system.

Thank you South Plains College for investing in America’s future.

  • FPTI™ conducts hands-on training for aerospace engineers at the Marine Fleet Readiness Center,
    Cherry Point, North Carolina -

FPTI™ is honored to have had the opportunity to conduct a training workshop at the Marine Fleet Readiness Center for the engineers and technicians that provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul support to virtually every weapons platform the Marine Corps has flown – from the inverted gull-winged F4U Corsair of World War II fame, to the Corps newest V/STOL aircraft, the V-22 Osprey.

It is one of eight fleet readiness centers operated by the United States Navy, and the only fleet readiness center commanded by Marines. Located in coastal North Carolina on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, it is also the Department of Defense Vertical Lift Center of Excellence.

FPTI™’s founder, Rory McLaren conducted the hands-on training workshop for 30 aerospace and mechanical engineers. We are proud of the fact that in training MFRC’s engineers, we are playing a part in providing support for our country’s brave men and woman in uniform. We are particularly proud that our workshops will help the men and woman at Cherry Point work safer with hydraulics.

The hands-on training was performed on eight of FPTI™ flagship trainers, the MF102-H-TSE, the MF200-CAV Cavitation Trainer, and the MF300-VCLS-TS.

We encourage you to visit MFRC’s website by following the link below, to see firsthand the vital role the brilliant engineers and technicians play in supporting America’s armed forces.
